Donations Who We Are

February Newsletter

My Dear Teammates,

Love is in the air! This is the month of February, and, of course, that means Valentines Day. This is a great time to express our love to those who mean the most to us. Don’t forget those flowers, guys, or maybe a box of chocolates (if she is not on a New Years diet!). Also, why not take this opportunity to tell your spouse, kids, grandkids, co-workers and special friends how much they mean to you? How long has it been since you simply said, I love you? This would also be a great time to take a moment to tell the Lord how much we love Him.

I would like to tell you, Teammate, how thankful we are for each one of you. I am humbled that you have the confidence to support and pray for us. I see your checks and e-mail contributions come in month after month, some large, some small, but every amount is big in God’s sight. One of you sends in three one dollar bills every month and some of your checks are in the thousands, but He is keeping the records. Because of you, we can fulfill our calling to do our part in reaching America’s most neglected people. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

These are busy days, here at the mission. We have just had our annual board meeting and there was a sense of unity and purpose. Each man prayed that God would use Frontier Missions in even a greater measure than ever before. I am thankful for these Godly men who give of their time and substance to guide and direct the business aspects of the mission.

Our new Field Director, Marv Boettcher, is already “on the road again’! Marv has a special connection with the Native American people. He loves them and they know it, and they love him. He stays in their homes and has wonderful fellowship with them. Marv, and his wife Judy, left Thursday, February 8 on a trip to pastors, missionaries and friends to the following areas: Wolf Point, MT, Northwest Indian Bible School at Alberton, MT, Browning, MT, Ravalli, MT, Crow Agency, MT, Kamiah, ID, Lapwai, ID, and Lewiston, ID. They are renewing relationships, evaluating needs and encouraging those who need help. They will return to help the team plan future trips with the big rigs, full of what these far-flung reservations need…specifically, food, clothing and household items. They will be journaling and sending back pictures along the way so be sure to log on to our revamped web site. Remember, every box of food and supplies is given in Jesus’ Name and is used as an opportunity to give the message of salvation.

May God bless each and every one of you!
