Donations Low Prices Who We Are

Howard Thorne was promoted from this life and entered into his eternal fellowship with the Lord on Palm Sunday.  He was a part of this mission for over 20 years and used his truck driving skills on a daily basis.  Wherever Howard went, he was an ambassador for this ministry and represented our commitment to share God's love, acceptance and forgiveness with everyone.
Howard will be missed, but no one can deny that he has entered his final reward and is at peace.  He often talked about his involvement with the ministry of the late Kathryn Kuhlman and ushering at her healing crusades here in Portland.  And he would cry and tell about a special song or sermon that had touched him when listening to Jimmy and Donnie Swaggart.  He had a tender heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
The Scripture says, "...I do not want you to be ignorant, concerning  those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14)
Songwriter, Sabine Baring-Gould wrote these words, set to music by Ira Sankey,
"On the resurrection morning,
Soul and body meet again,
No more sorrow, no more weeping,
No more pain."
Until then..."Good night Howard, we'll see you in the morning!"
